Lexington Food Service provides fresh fruit and vegetable products to a variety of school systems throughout Central Kentucky. Through this partnership, our Fresh Approach division keeps its workforce, composed primarily of people with intellectual disabilities, very busy every day, while helping to provide public school students with fresh, nutritious meals.
Veritiv (formerly Xpedx) is a premier worldwide producer of corrugated containers and packaging solutions. Operating through one of its many manufacturing and distribution sites in Louisville, Veritiv partners with Employment Solution’s Qbox for a variety of smaller run die cut containers that require significant amounts of manual assembly. This partnership has kept QBox’s die cutter rolling and the hands of its workforce, consisting primarily of people with intellectual disabilities, busy for more than 15 years.
